Great Conversations from the 92nd Street Y
The 92nd Street Y in Manhattan hosts fascinating conversations with the most influential leaders in culture, politics, business and the arts. Shearith Israel will screen six of their most popular talks about Judaism and Israel. A Rabbi or community leader will introduce the topic and then lead a discussion after the presentation.

Introduction to Judaism
Join our community Conservative rabbis for a transformative learning experience that will inspire you to embrace every facet of our beloved tradition. Build a relationship with our sacred texts, our sacred moments and our sacred land. Open to anyone — Jew or non-Jew — who wants to deepen his or her Jewish knowledge or explore the possibility of conversion. This year-long course introduces the basics of Jewish thought, practice, holidays and history and basic Hebrew reading through lectures, discussions, hands-on experiences, readings and meaningful personal sharing along the way. Location will rotate.
$180 per person or $270 per couple, plus books.
Class begins Monday, October 16th at 7 PM
